In the Eurodistrict PAMINA there are numerous challenges to ensure close health care. For patients (cross-border or non-border commuters) on both sides of the border, it is both about the provision of hospital services and the care of resident doctors. In order to contribute to addressing the challenges, this project aims to further develop local health care in the PAMINA area. The emergence of this joint PAMINA health care should in the long term make it possible to better address the changing health needs of the population of the Eurodistrict PAMINA in cooperation with all stakeholders in the health sector, in particular hospitals, doctors and health insurance companies on both sides of the border, thereby improving access to local health care. In order to respond to these problems and to improve the common supply of care, the project’s challenge is to improve and systematise cooperation on legal and administrative issues of health actors (outpatient and inpatient) in order to increase the attractiveness of the PAMINA area, attract doctors in the region and facilitate the financial protection of cross-border healthcare. All of these elements constitute a cross-border service system for better healthcare in the medium term. (English) | |||||||||||||||

(German)
