The project will be carried out in the area of Zamość District and Sokal District. One barrier for the growth of border regions is the insufficient development of the road network, which limits the region's accessibility and attractiveness. The overall objective of this project is to develop the transport network, facilitating growth in the economy and cross-border tourism, which connects the Polish and Ukrainian border area. As a result of the project, 11,4 km of roads on the Polish side and 2,58 km on the Ukrainian side will be reconstructed. The beneficiaries of the project will be the residents of the Polish-Ukrainian borderland, tourists from other regions, visiting a region rich in cultural heritage (Bernardin Monastery from the 16th century and orthodox church in Zabużżia, 18th century wooden church and cemetery in Dub) and clean natural environment (Natura 2000 area), as well as enterprises and local authorities. The objective of the project is to improve the quality of road infrastructure on both sides of the border, which will enable a lasting cooperation in developing the cross-border region and promoting pro-ecology solutions – also in highway engineering (utilisation of photovoltaic street lighting). Joint cross-border undertakings will enable the promotion of the cultural heritage, whose development plays an important role in reinforcing the residents' sense of identity and has a positive influence on the region's economic potential. The project will result in producing the following: length of reconstructed roads 13,98 km (5 pcs.), number of districts benefiting from the modernised infrastructure 2 pcs., number of established partnerships 1 pc., number of awareness-raising campaigns concerning the lowcarbon transportation 1 pc. Implementation of the project will lead to reducing the travel time by about 6 minutes on sections of rebuilt roads. (Polish)

Le projet sera réalisé dans les zones des districts de Zamość et de Sokal. L’un des obstacles à la croissance des régions frontalières est le développement insuffisant du réseau routier, qui limite l’accessibilité et l’attractivité de la région. L’objectif général de ce projet est de développer le réseau de transport, en facilitant la croissance de l’économie et le tourisme transfrontalier, qui relie la zone frontalière polonaise et ukrainienne. Grâce au projet, 11,4 km de routes du côté polonais et 2,58 km du côté ukrainien seront reconstruits. Les bénéficiaires du projet seront les résidents de la frontière entre la Pologne et l’Ukraine, les touristes d’autres régions, la visite d’une région riche en patrimoine culturel (le monastère de Bernardin du XVIe siècle et l’église orthodoxe de Zabużia, l’église en bois du XVIIIe siècle et le cimetière de Dub) et un environnement naturel propre (zone Natura 2000), ainsi que des entreprises et des autorités locales. L’objectif du projet est d’améliorer la qualité des infrastructures routières des deux côtés de la frontière, ce qui permettra une coopération durable dans le développement de la région transfrontalière et la promotion de solutions pro-écologiques, y compris dans le domaine de l’ingénierie routière (utilisation de l’éclairage public photovoltaïque). Les entreprises transfrontalières conjointes permettront la promotion du patrimoine culturel, dont le développement joue un rôle important dans le renforcement du sentiment d’identité des habitants et a une influence positive sur le potentiel économique de la région. Le projet permettra de produire les éléments suivants: longueur des routes reconstruites 13,98 km (5 pièces), nombre de districts bénéficiant de l’infrastructure modernisée 2 pièces., nombre de partenariats établis 1 pc., nombre de campagnes de sensibilisation concernant le transport à faible émission de carbone 1 pc. La mise en œuvre du projet permettra de réduire le temps de déplacement d’environ 6 minutes sur des tronçons de routes reconstruites. (French)

Das Projekt wird im Bereich des Bezirks Zamość und des Bezirks Sokal durchgeführt. Ein Hindernis für das Wachstum der Grenzregionen ist der unzureichende Ausbau des Straßennetzes, das die Zugänglichkeit und Attraktivität der Region einschränkt. Das übergeordnete Ziel dieses Projekts besteht darin, das Verkehrsnetz zu entwickeln, um das Wachstum der Wirtschaft und des grenzüberschreitenden Tourismus zu fördern, der den polnischen und ukrainischen Grenzraum verbindet. Als Ergebnis des Projekts werden 11,4 km Straßen auf polnischer Seite und 2,58 km auf der ukrainischen Seite rekonstruiert. Die Begünstigten des Projekts sind die Bewohner des polnisch-ukrainischen Grenzlandes, Touristen aus anderen Regionen, Besuch einer Region reich an Kulturerbe (Bernardin Kloster aus dem 16. Jahrhundert und orthodoxe Kirche in Zabużia, Holzkirche und Friedhof aus dem 18. Jahrhundert in Dub) und saubere natürliche Umwelt (Natura 2000 Gebiet) sowie Unternehmen und lokale Behörden. Ziel des Projekts ist es, die Qualität der Straßeninfrastruktur auf beiden Seiten der Grenze zu verbessern, die eine dauerhafte Zusammenarbeit bei der Entwicklung der grenzübergreifenden Region und der Förderung von proökologischen Lösungen – auch in der Autobahntechnik (Nutzung der Photovoltaik-Straßenbeleuchtung) – ermöglicht. Gemeinsame grenzübergreifende Unternehmen werden die Förderung des kulturellen Erbes ermöglichen, dessen Entwicklung eine wichtige Rolle bei der Stärkung des Identitätsgefühls der Einwohner spielt und sich positiv auf das wirtschaftliche Potenzial der Region auswirkt. Das Projekt wird folgende Ergebnisse hervorbringen: Länge der rekonstruierten Straßen 13,98 km (5 Stk.), Anzahl der Bezirke, die von der modernisierten Infrastruktur profitieren 2 Stk., Anzahl der etablierten Partnerschaften 1 St., Zahl der Sensibilisierungskampagnen für den CO2-armen Verkehr 1 St. Die Durchführung des Projekts wird dazu führen, dass die Fahrzeit auf Straßenabschnitten um etwa 6 Minuten verkürzt wird. Het project zal worden uitgevoerd in het district Zamość en het district Sokal. Een belemmering voor de groei van grensregio’s is de ontoereikende ontwikkeling van het wegennet, die de toegankelijkheid en aantrekkelijkheid van de regio beperkt. De algemene doelstelling van dit project is de ontwikkeling van het vervoersnetwerk, dat de groei van de economie en het grensoverschrijdend toerisme bevordert, dat het Poolse en Oekraïense grensgebied met elkaar verbindt. Als gevolg van het project zullen 11,4 km wegen aan de Poolse kant en 2,58 km aan Oekraïense zijde worden gereconstrueerd. De begunstigden van het project zijn de inwoners van het Pools-Oekraïense grensgebied, toeristen uit andere regio’s, een bezoek aan een regio die rijk is aan cultureel erfgoed (Klooster van Bernardin uit de 16e eeuw en orthodoxe kerk in Zabużia, 18e-eeuwse houten kerk en begraafplaats in Dub) en schone natuurlijke omgeving (Natura 2000-gebied), evenals ondernemingen en lokale overheden. Doel van het project is de verbetering van de kwaliteit van de wegeninfrastructuur aan weerszijden van de grens, die een duurzame samenwerking mogelijk zal maken bij de ontwikkeling van de grensoverschrijdende regio en de bevordering van pro-ecologische oplossingen — ook op het gebied van snelwegtechniek (gebruik van fotovoltaïsche straatverlichting). Gezamenlijke grensoverschrijdende ondernemingen zullen de bevordering van het cultureel erfgoed mogelijk maken, waarvan de ontwikkeling een belangrijke rol speelt bij het versterken van het identiteitsgevoel van de bewoners en een positieve invloed heeft op het economische potentieel van de regio. Het project zal resulteren in de volgende resultaten: lengte van gereconstrueerde wegen 13,98 km (5 stuks), aantal districten dat profiteert van de gemoderniseerde infrastructuur 2 stuks, aantal gevestigde partnerschappen 1 pc., aantal bewustmakingscampagnes met betrekking tot het koolstofarme transport 1 pc. De uitvoering van het project zal leiden tot een verkorting van de reistijd met ongeveer 6 minuten op delen van herbouwde wegen. (Dutch)

Il progetto sarà realizzato nell'area del distretto di Zamość e del distretto di Sokal. Uno degli ostacoli alla crescita delle regioni frontaliere è lo sviluppo insufficiente della rete stradale, che limita l'accessibilità e l'attrattiva della regione. L'obiettivo generale di questo progetto è sviluppare la rete dei trasporti, facilitando la crescita dell'economia e del turismo transfrontaliero, che collega la zona di frontiera polacca e ucraina. Come risultato del progetto, 11,4 km di strade sul lato polacco e 2,58 km sul lato ucraino saranno ricostruiti. I beneficiari del progetto saranno i residenti del confine polacco-ucraino, i turisti provenienti da altre regioni, visitando una regione ricca di patrimonio culturale (Monastero Bernardin del XVI secolo e chiesa ortodossa a Zabużia, chiesa lignea del XVIII secolo e cimitero a Dub) e ambiente naturale pulito (area Natura 2000), nonché imprese e autorità locali. L'obiettivo del progetto è migliorare la qualità dell'infrastruttura stradale su entrambi i lati del confine, che consentirà una cooperazione duratura nello sviluppo della regione transfrontaliera e nella promozione di soluzioni pro-ecologiche — anche nell'ingegneria stradale (utilizzo dell'illuminazione stradale fotovoltaica). Le imprese transfrontaliere comuni consentiranno la promozione del patrimonio culturale, il cui sviluppo svolge un ruolo importante nel rafforzare il senso di identità dei residenti e ha un'influenza positiva sul potenziale economico della regione. Il progetto si tradurrà in: lunghezza delle strade ricostruite 13,98 km (5 pz.), numero di distretti che beneficiano dell'infrastruttura modernizzata 2 pz., numero di partnership consolidate 1 pz., numero di campagne di sensibilizzazione sul trasporto a basse emissioni di carbonio 1 pz. El proyecto se llevará a cabo en la zona del distrito de Zamość y el distrito de Sokal. Un obstáculo para el crecimiento de las regiones fronterizas es el insuficiente desarrollo de la red de carreteras, lo que limita la accesibilidad y el atractivo de la región. El objetivo general de este proyecto es desarrollar la red de transporte, facilitando el crecimiento de la economía y el turismo transfronterizo, que conecta la zona fronteriza polaca y ucraniana. Como resultado del proyecto, se reconstruirán 11,4 km de carreteras en el lado polaco y 2,58 km en el lado ucraniano. Los beneficiarios del proyecto serán los residentes de la frontera polaco-ucraniana, turistas de otras regiones, visitarán una región rica en patrimonio cultural (Monasterio de Bernardin del siglo XVI y la iglesia ortodoxa de Zabużia, iglesia de madera del siglo XVIII y cementerio en Dub) y un entorno natural limpio (zona Natura 2000), así como empresas y autoridades locales. El objetivo del proyecto es mejorar la calidad de las infraestructuras viarias a ambos lados de la frontera, lo que permitirá una cooperación duradera en el desarrollo de la región transfronteriza y la promoción de soluciones proecológicas, también en la ingeniería de carreteras (utilización de alumbrado público fotovoltaico). El proyecto dará como resultado lo siguiente: longitud de las carreteras reconstruidas 13,98 km (5 unidades), número de distritos que se benefician de la infraestructura modernizada 2 piezas, número de asociaciones establecidas 1 uc., número de campañas de sensibilización sobre el transporte con bajas emisiones de carbono 1 pc.
