Derry City & Strabane District Council has been awarded funding under the PEACE IV Programme to implement their PEACE Action Plan. The funding will be utilised to support a number of locally-based projects and initiatives that will promote positive relations between people from different communities and backgrounds. The PEACE Action Plan will be focused on three key areas: Children & Young People; Shared Spaces & Services; and Building Positive Relations. The Shared Spaces & Services theme will involve four programmes, including an interface investment initiative that will serve to further enhance cross-community contact. (English)
