The targeted area of the project activities is situated on the tripoint territory of Montenegro, Croatia and B&H (both entities). The flood&fire are common accidents and disasters that occur in this area. Problem of prevention, intervention and mitigation of flood&fire disasters is much expressed and will be challenged in future. Partnership composed for this project has strong trend to be institutionalized for the cope with potential problems in future. Communication center for disaster management in Herceg Novi will be composed to be ready, well equipped and organized with trained and experienced human potential to answer on natural and man-produced disasters. Holistic approach is the basic principle of the partnership composition, it include 4 LSG from area that make compact region and one CSO. It means that all aspects of the prevention, intervention and mitigation has been taken into consideration and adequate activities will be realised. The main objective of project is making CB area ready to react on nature and man-caused disasters and mitigate consequences of them. This will change present sporadic and ad-hoc organized joint intervention and mitigation activities. On the end of project lifetime prevention service will be established, technical resources for joint actions provided and staff of LSG, professional anti-disaster and mitigation services trained for joint working in the crisis. Outputs: Communication centre for disaster management established, Equipment for early warning provided, Intervention equipment provided, Brochures published, Professionals, non-professionals and LSG authorities trained how to act in crisis situations, Joint exercises realised and Exchange of experience provided Target groups: Anti-disaster services, Mitigation services, LSG from region, Touristic organizations, citizens, tourists. CBC added value will be higher degree of security for citizens and tourists. (English)
