Common CB joint problems and territorial challenges: (1) existing marketing structure no longer matches demand, (2) challenge to exploit this potential sustainably in order to offer attractive jobs to its people, (3) nautical tourism in region is important sector whose indirect effects are more important than the direct, (4) within the last 30 years in Adria region nautical tourism have been continuously showing high growth rates, (5) growing ICT services. Project’s approach in addressing common challenges covering all three levels of capacity building: institutional, operational&individual: (1) national and bilateral involvement of users of the public services&products, (2) clear definition of responsibilities, explicit allocation of work among partners on territorial and thematic dimensions, (3) exchange of good practise: bilateral exchange of know-how and new tools/products jointly developed, (4) use of sound monitoring and evaluation methods. Main objective of the NAUTICA CBC is to strengthen, diversify and integrate the cross-border tourism offer of new joint nautical tourism in targeted area of HR and MNE through joint new tourist products, improved facilities/infrastructure and new gained knowledge and sectoral skills. Project outputs: OT1.2 Innovative joint mobile application “NAUTICA CBC”, OT1.4 60 persons from HR&MNE successfully trained on quality assurance in nautical tourism. Main target groups: 10 interest groups including NGOs, 4 higher educations and research, 100.000 general public, 50.000 tourists, 3 local public authorities and 30 SMEs. CB added value of the project: joint effords in specific tourism niche and innovative tourist products, platform for future cooperative actions in region. (English)
