The key problems that we want to solve through the project are the non-competitiveness of the project area (Gradiška, Daruvar, Lipik, Kotor), insufficiently built business infrastructure, lack of specific knowledge and skills as a generator of competitiveness of business entities, as well as the lack of entrepreneurs networking. The project focuses on the development of digital economy through the establishment of 4 digital innovation hubs, and the basic approach to solving common challenges will be reflected through networking as a modern business model that is also the purpose of establishing the DIHs. Activities focused on particular social challenges show that new forms of connectivity are needed in order to achieve a solid partnership in the knowledge triangle focusing on new technologies, innovations, innovation models, and expecting such communities to become lider of sustainable economic growth and competitiveness. The overall objective of the project is to contribute to sustainable and competitive economic and technological development through the creation of an efficient and effective business environment based on innovation, new technologies and ICT solutions in cross-border project area. By establishing the DIHs, it will be provided to increase the competences of entrepreneurs and startup and to make significant impact on the overall economy. Project outputs are: To develop new business support services through establishment of 2 DIHs in Gradiška and Daruvar and project promoted. Main target groups are SME, future start up, local authority, scientific community and business support organizations. The added value of cross-border cooperation is the development of entrepreneurship based on an innovative concept and improving the business environment of the project area as an attractive investment destination.
