Social care institutions in cross-border area (CBA) that deal with persons (especially children) with developmental disabilities usually act locally even wider at regional level but only inside each country. Cooperation and networking of such institutions accross country boarders is not yet developed. We are aiming to share these best practices in CBA.The focus of the project are persons and children with developmental disabilities and their families as one of the most sensitive social category in the society. According to accessed situation in partner countries approach is to work with social care institutions to improve their technical and human capacities as well as work with persons and children with developmental disabilities and their families.Social care centres will be provided with necessary tools and equippment to improve quality and content of their services. On the other side, persons and their families will be included in working therapy that will enable them to generate a new added value.The main objective of the project to improve social and health care for disabled people through the introduction of new innovative social protection instruments in the CBA. The joint project activities will contribute to connection, cooperation, transfer of knowledge and good practice among social institutions in CBA in the future.The project outputs are: provided equipment and tools for three social care nstitutions in CBA area, workshops for capacity building, working therapies for persons/children and their family members, reach of value added of children family members, increase of beneficiaries of social care institutions up to 10%.The target groups are social care institutions, organisations, their beneficiaries, children and persons with developmental disabilities and families.Added value of the project is interest in CBA to tackle common issue in order to establish future cooperation, transfer of good practices and improve conditions in social care services.
