Проекта на община Вълчедръм „Благоустрояване на зелени пространства на територията на гр. Вълчедръм“,включва две обособени позиции: УПИ II в кв. 145 по плана на гр. Вълчедръм (съществуващо парково пространство) и Централна градска градина в УПИ LІХ в кв. 114 по плана на гр. Вълчедръм.За УПИ II в кв. 145 е предвидено създаване на парк за възстановяване, развлечение и игри на децата и достъпна среда за хората с увреждания.Обиколна алея за бягане ще обособи: зона за игра на деца с комбинирани детски съоръжения,люлки тип махало,люлка тип везна,въртележка,беседка и пейки; зона за фитнес на открито,с комбинирани „стрийт фитнес“ съоръжения с халки,успоредка,лостове,шведска стени и др.,лост на три нива и успоредка,беседка и пейки за почивка;площадка за скейтборд, с рампа „Халфпайп“, две отделни рампи и ниски съоръжения за каскади, беседка и пейки за наблюдение и почивка.Централната градска градина в УПИ LІХ в кв. 114 има площ от 4935,7кв.м. Тревните площи на парковото пространство са занемарени, липсват елементи на градския дизайн и обзавеждане, кътове за социални контакти, алеи, осветителни тела. В южната част се обособява зона за игра на деца с комбинирано детско съоръжение за възрастова група 3-12г. подходящо и за деца с увреждания,люлка и беседка.Централно на парка при денивелацията между двете тераси се развива малък амфитеатър със сцена за артистични прояви и учебна стая на открито.Покрай алеите се разполагат пейки и кошчета. Проектът осигурява условия за достъпна среда до всички обекти в него и до входа на градския музей. И за двата терена е предвидено увеличават се достъпните зелени площи – обособява се спокойна паркова среда с пейки за сядане, места за социални контакти и рекреация. Предвидено е парково осветление с енергоспестяващи осветителни тела и шахти с хидрант за ръчно поливане с цел поддържане на растенията в парка.
