Målet med projektet är att tillverkande små och medelstora företag i Fyrbodal ska växa och bli mer konkurrenskraftiga genom en effektivare produktion. IUC Väst AB kommer genomföra analyser av tillverkande företag och stötta dem genom analys och en handlingsplan för förbättring och effektivisering. Det är en trestegsmetod, med analys, feedback och i tredje steget möjlighet för företaget att få coachstöd. Det tredje steget bekostas delvis av företaget och målet är att företagen själva ska kunna arbeta med förbättringar utifrån de insatser som projektet genomfört. Modellen är hämtad från IDC West Sweden och ett samarbete finns mellan IUC Väst och IDC West Sweden. Detta är en metod som IUC Väst även tidigare använt men projektet ska utvidga tillämpningen. Det kommer under projektets gång finnas en dialog med andra aktörer i regionen och en löpande uppföljning av effekter. (Swedish)

The goal of the project is for small and medium-sized companies in Fyrbodal to grow and become more competitive through more efficient production. IUC Väst AB will conduct analyses of manufacturing companies and support them through analysis and action plan for improvement and efficiency. It is a three-step method, with analysis, feedback and in the third step the opportunity for the company to get coach support. The third step is partly funded by the company and the goal is for the companies to be able to work with improvements based on the efforts carried out by the project. The model is taken from IDC West Sweden and a collaboration between IUC Väst and IDC West Sweden. This is a method used by the IUC West as well, but the project will expand the application. During the project, there will be a dialogue with other actors in the region and an ongoing follow-up of effects. (English)
