    THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT IS TO REBALANCE AND COMPENSATE FOR SITUATIONS OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE IN PARTICULARLY DISADVANTAGED AREAS BY TARGETING GROUPS OF PUPILS WITH DIFFICULTIES AND SPECIFIC NEEDS AND THUS EXPOSED TO A HIGHER RISK OF ABANDONMENT, BUT ALSO INVOLVING OTHER ACTORS IN THE TERRITORY OF PUBLIC AUTHORITIES AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES ASSOCIATIONS. THEREFORE, IT IS STRATEGIC THAT SCHOOLS OPEN UP MORE THAN THE TRADITIONAL TIMES OF TEACHING TO PUPILS AND THEIR FAMILIES, TO HAVE CHILDREN IN THE AFTERNOON AND TO BECOME AN AREA IN THE AREA OF SPECIAL SOCIAL AND CULTURAL HARDSHIP AND WITH A HIGH SCHOOL DROP-OUT RATE.
