    Baltic Odyssey is a return to the oldest sources of cultural identity of the lands currently located in the north-eastern Poland (Warmiansko-Mazurskie Voivodeship) and Russia (Kaliningrad Oblast). The project refers to the ancient myth of Odysseus as a metaphor for searching for a way to settle. The project implementation is intended to underline and clarify in the cultural landscape of the former Prussian lands the signs of identity associated with peoples who lived in these lands in antiquity and in the Middle Ages. Baltic Odyssey is a project of a travel offer to the sources of cultural identity of the south-eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. Both, inhabitants from cross-border region - Poles and Russians as well as tourists visiting the region are invited to this travel. The first will discover the mythical and historical past of their homeland today. Others - will be able to discover the exotic world of the north-eastern extremities of the former barbarian Europe - so little known so far. Main object - Increasing of attractiveness of Russia – Polish cross boarder territory for inhabitants and tourists through creation of common historical and cultural area. Firstly - In the project new places of cultural historical issue will be made (Excavation, Reconstruction of viking ship) Secondly -using mobile technology- the world of heritage will be opened for tourist/ Mobile application will collect all information of interesting historical and cultural places. And using game and 3D an VR and AR technology make it interesting for tourist to visit. In project also will be made Archio-design brochure - which will inspire craftsmen to make not just a regular things but truly historical reconstructions. Cross-border approach is needed for information and great experience exchange. In addition - cross-border territory has common history which could be used to attract people from outside. (Polish)
