    Celem realizacji projektu jest uporządkowanie gospodarki wodno-ściekowej aglomeracji Malbork, w gminie Lichnowy. Na terenie gminy brak jest zorganizowanych systemów kanalizacji sanitarnej. W ramach projektu planuje się budowę sieci kanalizacji sanitarnej w miejscowościach: Szymankowa, Starynia, Tropiszewo z włączeniem do istniejącego kolektora tłocznego kanalizacji sanitarnej Lisewo-Nowy Staw.
