The project has been divided into 4 main tasks: 1. Project preparation; 2. Investment phase; 3. Project promotion; 4. Personal and administrative expenditure. 1. involves the tasks that were completed and settled through invoices attached to this application – project documentation, translations and a financial and economic analysis. 2. involves partners’ construction works. On the Slovak side, it will involve the modernisation of roads no. II/542 and II/543, which merge before the border crossing point in Lysá nad Dunajcom and lead further to Poland; this expands the cross-border nature of the investment further to broader territories. On the Polish side, the plans involve upgrading the Krościenko section of road no. 969 and the Krościenko-Szczawnica section of road no. 1636K, which, through road no. 49, will be connected to the Slovak sections of road 969. This will enable connection to the Polish TEN-T corridor – national road (DK) no. 7. On the Slovak side, a connection to the D1 motorway is possible through the Slovak TEN-T corridor. The purpose of the modernisation of communication connections is to stabilise the road infrastructure, improve the surface properties of the protective layer and thus ensure road traffic safety. In order to provide drainage for the road, reconstruction of the bridge and culverts is necessary. Increased safety will be achieved through by supplementing the road safety subsystems – energy-intensive barriers, horizontal and vertical road signs, posts, increasing safety at the dangerous pedestrian crossing in Červený Kláštor. 3. will involve providing information on the programme and the project. Each partner will publish information on the project on their website, thus fulfilling this task in line with the description provided further in this document. 4. this task includes settling all personal expenses born by the employees directly involved in the project implementation, as well as the expenses associated with administration.
