The common challenge represents finding an innovative response to overcome language barriers, through establishing a multifunctional language classroom in Vrsac and Timisoara to improve capacities among high school students and to prepare them to get more effective once they enroll universities and get employed. The necessity of providing an accessible high quality education is of great importance for the population residing in cross-border area, to enable establishing of sustainable joint platform and to enhance highly educated persons to take part as professionals in vibrant cross-border market. The overall objective is to contribute to the quality of life for youth in the border area, by raising the quality of education of students and increasing educational, social, and cultural exchanges. Through the project mutual understanding will be promoted as well as tolerance and respect for cultural diversity and innovative solutions for social problems of vulnerable groups (affected by and marginalized due to poverty, and/or disability, i.e. youth, women, disabled, ethnic minorities, etc.) by increasing educational effectiveness and availability, social challenges, and cultural exchanges among youth from Banat region. The main outputs are as follows: Established cross-border network of Centers for Language Studies; Implemented Campaign to raise the quality of students' knowledge, and success on admission tests at higher education institutions; Students from vulnerable groups acquired new knowledge on sociology and psychology; Held debate club on youth life in the border region and social integration; Held a series of knowledge quizzes; The problems most of the classrooms had was a lack of modern equipment that could provide effective language learning and this caused lack of knowledge students acquired. Applying the innovative approach by establishing a multifunctional classroom, high schools in Vrsac and Timisoara will successfully overcome issues they use to have and will quickly get ready to deal with current problems in most effective and innovative way. The services will be available not only for students but also for those adults who tend to improve their skills in active job search, CV writing, business negotiation, communication, etc. through the modern method of learning languages. This approach goes way beyond the existing practice because most of the language courses so far were part of regular scholar syllabus providing insufficient practical knowledge, whereas in this case, students will have an opportunity to get a high quality education that will make them ready to become important players in nowadays vibrant and constantly changing business environment. Students will also be able to continue to broaden their knowledge in specific areas, which will provide continues life-long learning. The courses and the lessons will develop according to actual market needs in the cross-border area. (English)
