Hauptziel des Projektes ist der Ausbau der Zusammenarbeit zwischen den partnerschaftlichen Kommunen im touristischen Bereich durch die Inbetriebsetzung einer Fährverbindung zwischen Aurith und Urad sowie die Umsetzung begleitender Maßnahmen. Auf der polnischen Seite wird die bestehende Infrastruktur u.a. um folgende Punkte für Rad-, Wander- und Wassertouristen ergänzt: Sitzgelegenheiten, Fahrradständer, Aussichtsturm, sanitäre Anlagen, so dass sie mit der deutschen Infrastruktur eine Einheit bilden. Durch die Fähre zwischen Aurith und Urad soll die Voraussetzung für die vollständige Nutzung des vorangegangenen Netzwerkprojektes „Oder-Schlaubetal- Schleife“ geschaffen werden, die den Touristen die Möglichkeit einräumt die deutsch-polnische Grenzregion aktiv zu erleben. Ein weiteres Ziel ist es, auch die Akteure aus dem Bereich Tourismus in das Projekt einzubeziehen und gemeinsam ein touristisches Konzept zu erstellen. Dieses soll die Aktivitäten im Bereich Tourismus, die in der deutsch-polnischen Grenzregion geplant werden, enthalten. (German)

The main objective of the project is to expand cooperation between the partner municipalities in the tourist area by putting in place a ferry connection between Aurith and Urad and the implementation of accompanying measures. On the Polish side, the existing infrastructure is supplemented by the following points for cycling, hiking and water tourists: Seats, bicycle stands, observation tower, sanitary facilities, so that they form a unit with the German infrastructure. The ferry between Aurith and Urad is intended to create the prerequisite for the full use of the previous network project “Oder-Schlaubetal-schleife”, which gives tourists the opportunity to actively experience the German-Polish border region. Another goal is to involve the players in the tourism sector in the project and to jointly create a tourist concept. This will include the tourism activities planned in the German-Polish border region. (English)
