In the current context of globalization, the problem of the assertion and preservation of native cultural identity and uniqueness is one of the most acute.About the state of the culture of one or another nation should be judged by how they treat their cultural heritage.The socio-economic changes in the society of the 21st century led to a lowering of spiritual and moral guides among the rising generation,to a sharp drop of interest in the national culture and art. All this inspires anxiety about the spiritual health of the society and determines the need to cultivate values in the field of culture in the rising generation. Project goal: creating conditions for development of a cross-border cultural environment in both Salcininkai and Lida regions, sustainable mechanisms of cooperation between the schools and local community as well as professional development of pedagogues of musical direction for fostering in the rising generation in cross-border regions value guidelines in the field of art and culture,a sense of national identity and regional belonging and continuity of cultural heritage. Partnership Structure: Salcininkai S.Monyushko Children's School of Arts, Lida Children's Music School of Art, Department of Culture of Lida District Executive Committee. To accomplish the tasks, the following is also planned: active involvement in the project of teachers and students of other schools of arts, students of secondary schools, pedagogues and administrators of educational institutions, parents and the public of the region, media representations of the project activities. The main activities of the project: 1. Educational activities and development of competence level of the pedagogues; 2. Joint cultural and educational activities of the schools as well as an interaction with the local community (creation of cooperation networks); 3. Marketing and advertising activities of art schools within the project. (English)
