    The project aims at being implemented in a cross broder area dealing with a common series of challenges. The main challenges consist in insufficient valorization of the intangible cultural and natural heritage as resource for developing innovative tourism products and services and the development of cultural entrepreneurship in local communities. The overall objective of the project is constructed starting from the need of better cross border collaboration in tourism both in valorising regional and local cultural heritage, as potential resource for communitarian sustainable development, economic growth and social cohesion and also as social involvement and responsibility. Overall objective of the project is: Strengthening the economic and social cohesion in the Romanian – Serbian cross -border area by joint promotion of heritage and development of tourism. The main outs wich will be produced consist in: -Research, Studies and innovative touristic products in the field of heritage and turism, -Trained persons, -Join software platform for communication and dissemination, -Cross border Networking for research, heritage and turism. Developing from an empiric and scientific approach, the project proposes pro activeinvolvement in communities from both sides of the border, while it aims at enabling people to create bridges based on their shared heritage as well as to transform individuals on a personal level, taking into account criteria such as gender equality, environmental consciousness or social inclusion. The approach of the project consist in: -A general approach: Opportunities opposite challengeswill be taken in consideration and will form the substance of thematic work packages and activities. The project is delivered through the work of 3 Work-packages (WPs) lead by different partners. The core activity package deals with scientific research which lay the basis of further activities. Identifying well kept traditions, local craftsmen and local arts and crafts, local cuisine and specificities, we thenintend toassist communities intotransforming their cultural resources into products which can attract tourists. By creating a tourist offer which include local traditions and customs, folk crafts, traditional cookery, wines, this will lead to a growing interest in cultural tourism in Banat. (English)
