The digitalisation of the agricultural and food economy in the Lake Constance region (DigiLand) is a sub-project of the IBH-Lab KMUdigital. The IBH-Lab KMUdigital is a research and innovation network of universities and practice partners from business, in which interdisciplinary application-orientated solutions for the digital transformation of small and medium companies (SMEs) are worked out. The DigiLand sub-project will demonstrate digitalisation options using specific implementation examples along the nutritional value added chain to agricultural and processing companies as well as local dealers in the Lake Constance region. The objective of the DigiLand sub-project is creating a competitive advantage for agriculture in the Lake Constance region. The aim is to enable the effective development and execution of digitalisation along the nutritional added value chain of agricultural and processing companies, local dealers and small regional technology and consulting firms. Reference processes (blueprints), organisation models as well as a technology radar will be developed for this, using the application domains for fruit and vegetable growing in the Lake Constance region. The models can be adapted and quickly implemented by companies with a variety of basic technological facilities and prior knowledge. (English)
