Uzhgorod district is a heart of Zakarpattia, as well as Rzeszow powiat - the heart of Prykarpattia. They have peculiarities that form their branding. Both districts are unique and inimitable in their own way, so there is a need to allocate them at the crossborder level, as they are interesting in economic, cultural and tourist plans. Their uniqueness forms their brand. The joint promotion and reproduction of traditional craftsmanship, development of joint tourist products, and marketing of resources will have a positive impact on the development of cross-border cultural, historical and natural potential, as well as on the development of cross-border tourism. Branding of the districts means the creation of the image of the border regions in the field of promotion of cultural and natural heritage. The objective of the project is the development and visualization of brands of cross-border districts by promoting the characteristics of local culture and history, which will strengthen contacts and cooperation between stakeholders in the field of culture and tourism, improve the quality of tourist services and increase the attendance of objects and create an image of the border regions in the field of promotion of cultural and natural heritage. The main output of the project will be the vision of districts at the cross-border level as separate cultural and tourist units of interest open from a new perspective. This information will be concentrated in the developed albums-catalogues of the districts, which will also include information on accessibility to cultural heritage sites for people with disabilities, and provided in promotional videos, developed for each of the partner districts. Also, tourist logos of the districts will be developed under surveillance of Competition Commissions and Steering Committee, created during Start Conference. Two massive cross-border events, organized in Ukraine and in Poland will bring the interest of local population groups, as these cross-border events will gain the format of the exhibition of achievements of local craftsmen and will attract as many visitors as possible.
