MIND THE GAP combines the efforts and knowledge of 12 partners working in the field of culture, education and local development and representing practically all the regions of the trans-Pyrenean territory, with the intention of contributing to the extension, replication, sustainability and improvement of locally tested innovative solutions for the engagement and social inclusion of youth and children at risk. Challenge: Given the risk of social exclusion of many young people due to the inadequate adaptation of educational policies to the complexity generated by the growing diversity in the region, the trans-Pyrenean cultural sector is generating innovative practices in education and culture for social inclusion that remain isolated in the localities where they originate. Those practices will be systematized and replicated to support new educational and cultural policies that involve the participation of public and private, local and regional actors from both sectors contributing to innovation and regional development. General objective: to create a dialogue on innovative experiences in education and culture in the Pyrenean region in order to improve the skills of institutional actors and educational and cultural agents working in the region and to guarantee the social inclusion of young people. Added value: exchange of experiences of potentially replicable innovative solutions in different administrative and legal contexts. (English)
