MALMÖKRAFTEN 2.0 means that the City of Malmö, together with the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish public Insurance agency and primary care in Region Skåne, will take a considerable effort to prevent jobseekers roundabout between the authorities and optimize the use of labor market policy resources. Some 40 employees from the parties have moved together in a common workplace and act together in multi-competent teams. Here there are work mediators, health care coordinators from primary care as well as social secretaries, labor market secretaries and study and professional counselors from the city of Malmö. During the two years and a half as the venture is going, the teams will have contact with 5600 long-term unemployed Malmö residents. The goal is that at least 2500 should go to work or study. Four parties with joint responsibility to make a difference The City of Malmö, the Public Employment Service, the public Insurance agency and the primary care in Region Skåne each have the same responsibility to work for structural and system improvements within their area of competence, which leads individuals to be guided faster to the right effort so that unemployment times are kept down.
