Коефициентът на безработица в община Долна баня е висок, с което се нарежда на едно от първите места в Софийска област по процент на безработица на населението. Най-засегнати са хората с увреждания и грижещите се за тях. Настоящият проект адресира проблема чрез създаването на социално предприятие в гр. Долна баня - обществена пералня в полза на неактивни и безработни лица в т.ч. и хора с увреждания и директното им обкръжение - за тяхното пълноценно и автономно съществуване посредством осигуряване на възможности за трудова заетост. Това ще ги направи по-активни и равноправни участници в социалния живот, което ще способства за подобряване на жизнения им стандарт и ще създаде условия за развитие на техния капацитет като личности. От друга страна, реализирането на схема за подкрепена заетост ще допринесе за облекчаване на икономическото бреме на психичната болест за техните семейства и общността като цяло. Освен изграждането на пералнята (ремонт и оборудване на помещение, създаване на организационно-административна рамка), мотивационно обучение за 40 дългосрочно безработни лица от уязвими групи, осъществяване на дейности и програми за активна социално-икономическа интеграция и професионална подготовка на персонал в перално стопанство, наемане на трудово правоотношение на 16 лица, привличане на клиенти, 16-месечният проект предвижда и въвеждане на програма за трудова рехабилитация, чиято роля е да подпомогне изграждането на подкрепяща среда, предоставяща възможност на хората с увреждания да придобият и развият умения за търсене и задържане на работа (чрез обучения и стаж в социалното предприятие). По този начин инициативата допринася за успешното изпълнение на приетата Актуализирана oбщинска стратегия за развитие на социалните услуги в община Долна баня 2016 г. – 2020 г.В рамките на проекта са предвидени и редица дейности, насочени към общността, за намаляване на стигмата и дискриминацията и създаване на условия за активно социално включване. The unemployment rate in the municipality of Dolna Banya is high, which ranks one of the first places in the Sofia region by the unemployment rate of the population. People with disabilities and carers are the most affected. This project addresses the problem through the creation of a social enterprise in Dolna Banya — a public washing machine for the benefit of inactive and unemployed persons, including people with disabilities and their direct environment — for their full and autonomous existence by providing employment opportunities. This will make them more active and equal actors in social life, helping to improve their living standards and enabling them to develop their capacities as individuals. On the other hand, the implementation of a supported employment scheme will contribute to alleviating the economic burden of mental illness for their families and the community as a whole. In addition to the construction of the washing machine (repair and equipment of premises, establishment of an organisational and administrative framework), motivational training for 40 long-term unemployed people from vulnerable groups, implementation of activities and programmes for active socio-economic integration and professional training of laundry workers, hiring 16 persons, attracting clients, the 16-month project also envisages the introduction of a work rehabilitation programme, whose role is to help build a supportive environment enabling people with disabilities to acquire and develop job-search and retention skills (through training and internship in the social enterprise). In this way, the initiative contributes to the successful implementation of the adopted Updated Municipal Strategy for the Development of Social Services in Dolna Banya Municipality 2016-2020.The project also foresees a number of community-oriented activities to reduce stigma and discrimination and create conditions for active social inclusion.
