(French)

Following the seismic diagnosis launched by the Association of the Mayors of Guadeloupe in 2009, which concluded that certain buildings in schools in Gourbeyre were vulnerable, the municipality identified two priority projects, one relating to the primary school of the village (already carried out) and the other on the Raymonde Augustin kindergarten (the subject of this operation). In line with the recommendations of the operational diagnosis carried out in 2013 in addition to that of 2009, the existing kindergarten will be demolished. A new school, which can accommodate five classes (including a very small section), or 128 students, will be rebuilt on the same site. (English)
