SIEAM by delegation to SMAE is currently exploiting the boreholes of Beja, Kawéni la pretty and Bouyouni for drinking water supply. The objective of the project is to secure the water supply of the inhabitants in anticipation of a future drought. These boreholes, which are currently under-exploited in terms of capacity, need to be strengthened to increase the flow of production and the transfer of raw water to existing systems. The objective of this reinforcement is to increase drilling flows within pumping horaie limits (20h/day) in order to draw the maximum amount of water without prejudice to groundwater. The increase in the additional forecast flow rate will change as follows: — Beja drilling: 260 m³/day — Drilling Kawéni:400 m³/day — Bouyouni Drilling: 200 m³/day (English)
