(Spanish)

The operation consists of increasing pedestrian mobility and thus reducing journeys by car by increasing pedestrian mobility, especially in school transport, which is very significantly produced in a private vehicle at present, so different projects of safe school roads in Motril schools in favour of sustainable urban mobility are being implemented. — The operation also includes the rehabilitation of the pedestrian infrastructures of street Ancha and the creation of a cycle rail with a speed limited to 30 km/h of shared use, for the improvement of sustainable urban mobility not motorised in the northern area of Motril. The street Ancha runs in the north the city of East to West connecting different neighborhoods with each other, in addition to being the urban space of the most centrality and activity of the entire northern area of Motril, where shops, services and equipment of the north are concentrated, highlighting the Centre for Mayors, the Library, Neighborhood Associations, shops, cafes, bank branches, etc..., together with the most important free space in the area, the park 28 February. It is also intended to connect the different sections of bike lane already existing in the urban centre of Motril and thus create continuous itineraries that allow the use of the bicycle as a true sustainable urban transport mode, in order to become a real alternative to motorised mobility of short journeys, which are carried out mainly for work, school transport, shopping or leisure within the urban centre. In particular, the connections of the most necessary existing bike lanes would be those of the South and East sections, through the Parque de los Pueblos de América, those of the South and West sections along the Av. Salobreña and Av. Norman Bethune. All contracts are contemplated on the basis of the current SUMP and where their updating will be contracted. (English)
