Development of a system to locate and extract pieces from industrial waste bins to manufacture lamps via robotics guided by artificial vision. The technology used to automate the process of bin-picking is based on artificial vision techniques combined with robotics, and known as Vision Guided Robotics systems - VGR. These systems provide a greater degree of freedom and versatility to robotics, going from having to work in pre-set environments and making repetitive movements to adapting to the conditions prevailing at any time. _x000D_ With bin-picking, the VGR system finds the best piece from the bin, calculates the best route to access it and orders the robot to extract and place it in the next point in the industrial chain.
