In comuna Zerind exista un numar crescand de persoane varstnice, care pentru a avea o viata demna ar avea nevoie de sprijin pentru integrarea sau reintegrarea lor in societate, pentru rezolvarea unor probleme legate de capacitatea lor fizica si informare in domeniul social si juridic spre modalitatea in care pot sa isi solutioneze unele probleme. Pe de alta parte exista o categorie de persoane care nu mai reusesc sa isi gestioneze singuri viata cotidiana, au nevoie de ajutor dar membrii familiei fie nu se afla in apropiere, fie nu au suficient timp pentru ai ajuta. In aceste conditii este nevoie sa se infiinteze o structura capabila sa furnizeze servicii sociale de calitate pe termen lung pentru a veni in sprijinul persoanelor varstnice din Zerind. Administratia publica locala are posibilitatea sa puna la dispozitie un imobil in care iniante functia o unitate de greniceri. Acest imobil este in stare relativ buna, dar necesita niste lucrari de reabilitare si modernizare pentru adaptare la cerintele noii destinatii. Pentru furnizarea serviciilor va fi nevoie de mobilier, echipamente si dotari specifice. Definirea functiilor incaperilor si a serviciilor care se vor furniza in cadrul noii structuri s-a facut cu ajutorul specialistilor directiei sociale din cadrul Consiliului Judetean Arad, care au experienta mai mare in acest domeniu. Obiectivul general al proiectului este infiintarea unui centru de zi pentru persoane varstnice in comuna Zerind, in cadrul careia va functiona si o unitate de ingrijire la domiciliu a persoanelor varstnice. In Zerind commune there is an increasing number of elderly people, who in order to have a dignified life would need support for their integration or reintegration into society, to solve problems related to their physical capacity and information in the social and legal field towards the way they can solve some problems. On the other hand, there is a category of people who can no longer manage their daily lives, they need help but the family members are either not nearby or do not have enough time to help. In these circumstances it is necessary to set up a structure capable of providing quality long-term social services to support the elderly in Zerind. The local public administration has the possibility to make available a building in which a clerk’s office is initiated. This building is in relatively good condition, but requires some rehabilitation and modernisation works to adapt to the requirements of the new destination. The provision of the services will require specific furniture, equipment and equipment. The definition of the functions of the rooms and services to be provided within the new structure was done with the help of the specialists of the social direction within the Arad County Council, who have greater experience in this field. The general objective of the project is to set up a day care center for elderly people in Zerind commune, where a home care unit for elderly people will also function. (English)
