Το έργο αποσκοπεί στη βελτίωση των συνθηκών ασφάλειας της λιμενικής εγκατάστασης Μύρινας Λήμνου και στην συμμόρφωση της συνολικής λιμενικής λειτουργίας με την ισχύουσα εθνική, ευρωπαϊκή και διεθνή νομοθεσία. Στόχος του έργου είναι η βελτίωση των υπηρεσιών που δύναται να προσφέρει το λιμάνι.Με το συγκεκριμένο έργο συνίσταται συνοπτικά η εγκατάσταση βασικών συστήματων ασφαλείας που πληρούν Διεθνείς κανονισμούς και πρότυπά ασφάλειας.
