Although including top innovative areas in EU, AS innovation capabilities and overall competitiveness lag behind those of key EU hubs. There is great potential to grow innovative entrepreneurship but few dynamic connections boost fast growing alpine ventures today. An AS Start up ecosystem boost needs to be implemented. Finance is not the top issue for scaling business,it’s about finding the talent, skilled workforce, building leadership and getting access to markets. Alpine fast growing SMEs account for a large share of employment expansion. Project main aim is fostering AS start-up scale up, branding AS as a cooperative area for innovative businesses and job creation. Project main outputs will be: 1)connect AS ecosystem policies&communities of practice; 2)select policies expanding the n. & quality of AS serial entrepreneurs and fast-growing scalable ventures; 3)Produce a mid-level feasibility plan, with high level recommendation on start-up ecosystems growth, reduce fragmentation increasing collaboration across disciplines & stakeholders; 4)design & test innovative public-private support schemes, corporate and capital matching, talent attraction, open market access improving innovation within entrepreneurial life cycle. Project innovative integrated approach derives from START UP GENOME and lean start up methodology to scale ventures, applied on local mapping & action plan developed by Piemonte stakeholders shared with project partners; a dedicated cooperative, participatory inclusive workflow based on EU Start up Manifesto declined in AS open webplatform; policy piloting exercise focusing talent attractiveness and scale up. Transnational approach value: sharing methods, peer quality reviews, knowledge and resources network, economies of scale in launching & communicating AS to target groups, easy to achieve project sustainability and execution plan.EEN and EUSALP relevant action group will be involved to spread and scale up project results at territorial and EU level.
