We at Nyföretagarcentrum have noticed that a number of small businesses have difficulties coping with the changes in society. Digitization, globalization, development of AI means that the small companies need to develop the skills of managers and employees. We sent out a survey to hundreds of member companies to investigate the interest and need for skills development. At present, we have received answers from 63 member companies that they have a great need for skills development, especially in practical business economics, digitalisation, practical leadership and HR, marketing and PR. Interest reports will be received while we are working on the application. We intend to recruit new companies, approximately 100 to implement the skills development efforts. The project aims to develop and strengthen the skills of managers and employees in small businesses so that companies can develop and employees are better equipped for the future and market development. Furthermore, the project aims to develop a durable platform for learning and skills development. The project will run between September 2020 and September 2022. (Swedish)
