Głównym celem projektu jest ochrona i rozwój oraz udostępnienie dziedzictwa kulturowego w Bazylice Katedralnej w Pelplinie. Obiekt objęty projektem - Bazylika Katedralna pw. Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Pelplinie - stanowi część Pomnika Historii Prezydenta RP („Pelplin - zespół pocystersko-katedralny"). Zakres działań obejmuje m.in. stworzenie nowych powierzchni wystawienniczych, w tym umożliwiających oglądanie zabytków techniki – koła dźwigowego deptakowego na poddaszu Bazyliki, które dotychczas nie było udostępniane publicznie. Dodatkowo zaplanowano renowację murów zewnętrznych wraz z modernizacją systemu odwodnienia Bazyliki i zagospodarowaniem terenu, modernizację instalacji elektrycznej i stworzenie nowego systemu oświetlenia wewnętrznego Bazyliki lepiej eksponującego zabytki wewnątrz obiektu. W ramach projektu nastąpi jednocześnie renowacja zabytków ruchomych: zespołu organowego, sześciu konfesjonałów, dwóch kamiennych ołtarzy, witraży z nawy głównej i prezbiterium. Projekt obejmuje stworzenie nowoczesnej (dostępnej również dla osób z niepełnosprawnościami) oferty kulturalno-edukacyjnej (4 ścieżki dydaktyczne, wirtualny kustosz, wirtualne lekcje, infobox, dwie makiety Opactwa, plakiety ołtarzy, zewnętrzne ścianki ekspozycyjne). Zaplanowano również zainstalowanie systemu do oprowadzania odwiedzających przez przewodników, udostępnienie odwiedzającym audio. Dzięki realizacji projektu planowany jest wzrost liczby odwiedzin o 13 900 osób rocznie, do 26 900 odwiedzin rocznie. (Polish)

The main objective of the project is to protect and develop and make cultural heritage available in the Pelplin Cathedral Basilica. Project subject – Cathedral Basilica The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Pelplin – is part of the Monument to the History of the President of the Republic of Poland (“Pelplin – post-Cathedral ensemble”). The scope of activities includes, among others, the creation of new exhibition spaces, including the possibility of viewing technical monuments – a pedestrian lift wheel in the attic of the Basilica, which has not been made available to the public. In addition, renovation of the external walls with the modernisation of the drainage system of the Basilica and land development, modernisation of the electrical system and the creation of a new internal lighting system of the Basilica which better exhibits the monuments inside the building were planned. The project will also include the renovation of movable monuments: organ complex, six confessionals, two stone altars, stained glass from the nave and chancel. The project includes the creation of a modern (also accessible to people with disabilities) cultural and educational offer (4 didactic paths, virtual curator, virtual lessons, infobox, two mock-ups of Abbey, altar plaques, external exhibition walls). It is also planned to install a system to guide visitors through guides, make audio available to visitors. Thanks to the implementation of the project, the number of visits is planned to increase by 13,900 people per year, to 26,900 visits per year. (English)

L’objectif principal du projet est de protéger et de développer et de mettre à disposition le patrimoine culturel dans la basilique de la cathédrale de Pelplin. L’objet couvert par le projet — Cathédrale basilique L’Assomption de la Bienheureuse Vierge Marie à Pelplin fait partie du Monument à l’Histoire du Président de la République («Pelplin — un ensemble post-catholique»). Le champ des activités comprend la création de nouveaux espaces d’exposition, y compris la possibilité de voir des monuments techniques — une roue de grue piétonne dans le grenier de la basilique, qui n’a pas encore été mise à la disposition du public. En outre, il est prévu de rénover les murs extérieurs ainsi que la modernisation du système de drainage de la basilique et de l’aménagement du terrain, la modernisation de l’installation électrique et la création d’un nouveau système d’éclairage interne de la basilique mieux exposer les monuments à l’intérieur de l’installation. Le projet permettra également de rénover les monuments mobiliers: ensemble d’orgues, six confessionnels, deux autels de pierre, vitraux de la nef principale et du presbytère. Le projet comprend la création d’une offre culturelle et éducative moderne (également accessible aux personnes handicapées) (4 parcours d’enseignement, conservateur virtuel, leçons virtuelles, infobox, deux maquettes d’abbaye, insignes d’autel, murs extérieurs). Il est également prévu d’installer un système pour guider les visiteurs à travers les guides, fournir des sons aux visiteurs. Hauptziel des Projekts ist der Schutz, die Entwicklung und die Bereitstellung des kulturellen Erbes in der Basilika der Kathedrale von Pelplin. Das Objekt des Projektes – Basilika Kathedrale Die Himmelfahrt der Seligen Jungfrau Maria in Pelplin ist Teil des Denkmals für die Geschichte des Präsidenten der Republik („Pelplin – ein post-catedrales Ensemble“). Der Tätigkeitsbereich umfasst die Schaffung neuer Ausstellungsräume, einschließlich der Möglichkeit, technische Denkmäler zu besichtigen – ein Fußgängerkranrad im Dachgeschoss der Basilika, das der Öffentlichkeit noch nicht zur Verfügung gestellt wurde. Darüber hinaus ist geplant, die Außenwände zusammen mit der Modernisierung des Entwässerungssystems der Basilika und der Landentwicklung, der Modernisierung der elektrischen Installation und der Schaffung eines neuen internen Beleuchtungssystems der Basilika zu renovieren, um die Monumente innerhalb der Anlage besser aufzudecken. Es ist auch geplant, ein System zu installieren, um Besucher durch Guides zu führen, Audio für Besucher zur Verfügung zu stellen. Dank der Umsetzung des Projekts soll die Zahl der Besuche um 13 900 Personen pro Jahr auf 26 900 Besuche pro Jahr steigen. (German)
