This project aims at further connecting the cross-border logistical region and – considering the growing amount of freight and the region’s strategical positioning on both the north-south and the west-east-corridor – supporting the logistical sector. Within the structure of 5 work packages, the current and future freight transport flows will be analyzed, infrastructural bottlenecks and barriers to interoperability will be identified, opportunities for sustainable freight transport will be developed, and the region will be strengthened through a shared development strategy for the EUREGIO freight corridor.
