    The overall objective is to change the attitude regarding the support of elderly in the labor market, by ensuring healthier,more productive and participative lives,for this social category, with positive impact on the overall system of social protection and in the benefit of national macroeconomic development and security. The specific objectives are aiming, on the one hand,to increase the employment rate of the elderly people by reducing occupational incompatibility of supply and demand of jobs due to the low or outdated level of the education,and,on the other hand,to ensure the preconditions for the insertion and maintenance on the labor market of elderly people in order to sustain an active and healthy ageing. Project`s value is 467.202,57 €,the activities being: project management, information&publicity campaign,project identity campaign,Training Center, CBC Strategy to increase the employment of the elderly,development of vocational trainings along with foreign languages & IT trainings,two Agreements between Labour Agencies in the partner regions, creating a web-based resources network among the stakeholders, 2 Job Fairs in partner regions. The target group consists of the population aged between 55 and 70 years,employers, local,regional and national public authorities,NGOs acting in the sustainable development and social economy areas. Given ACTIVE activities,the results address 2 of the output indicators of the Programme. (English)
