This project aims to strengthen cross-border partner cooperation between Muszyna, Kamienica and Lipany in the area of common protection, development and promotion of the cultural and natural heritage. The planned tasks in the project are as follows: 1. Reconstruction of the historic granary to transform it into a “Potter’s House” with a garden and street furniture. Placing information boards along the cross-border cycling route from Muszyna to Lipany (13 boards) and its extension on the route Lipany-Kamenica; 3. Adaptation of the office space into a Tourist Information Centre in Lipany; 4. Renovation of the entrance gate in the castle in Kamienica and conducting archaeological studies. Expected project results: – improved quality of historic and tourist sites (reconstruction of the “Potter’s House”, its garden and street furniture in Muszyna and the entrance gate to the castle in Kamenica along with archaeological studies) on the tourist and cultural trail, extending and marking the tourist cycling route Muszyna-Kamenica-Lipany will promote culture, nature, recreation and education tourism, – the creation of a Tourist Information Centre in Lipany will provide better access to information on the borderland’s offer and promotion of partner regions, – an increase in popularity of the touristic offer of the borderland among tourists and visitors, -an improvement of the social and economic situation of the local population by creating conditions for sustainable economic growth – services and trade related to the local tradition and the history of the regions and more effective use of the borderland’s resources – the natural and cultural heritage, - greater integration of the local and international community, – new, multi-territorial and long-term partnership concepts.
