Das BIWAQ-Projekt „Westhagener Kompetenz-Café – Interkulturelles Know-how im Einsatz fuer den Stadtteil“ steht zum einen fuer eine konkrete Qualifizierungs- und Beschaeftigungsinitiative zur Foerderung Langzeitarbeitsloser im Stadtteil. Hier wird insbesondere auf den hohen Bedarf von Arbeitskraeften im Bereich des Handwerks abgestellt. Gleichzeitig sind auch am Arbeitsmarkt aufgrund der steigenden Multikulturalitaet der Gesellschaft verstaerkt interkulturelle Kompetenzen gefragt. Diese sind insbesondere im Stadtteil Westhagen zu finden, dessen Bevoelkerung ihre Wurzeln in rd. 80 verschiedenen Nationen hat. Zum anderen wird mit dem Kompetenz-Café eine neue Koordinierungsstelle im Stadtteil aufgebaut, die Angebot und Nachfrage zu Qualifizierung und Beschaeftigung an einem zentralen Ort buendeln und fuer Arbeitskraefte, Arbeitgeber und Sozialeinrichtungen nutzbar machen soll. Diese wird unmittelbar mit den BIWAQ-Qualifizierungsmassnahmen verknuepft und dauerhaft im Stadtteil etabliert. (German)

The BIWAQ project “Westhagener Kompetenz-Café — Intercultural know-how in use for the district” is on the one hand for a concrete qualification and employment initiative to promote the long-term unemployed in the district. Particular attention is paid to the high demand of workers in the craft sector. At the same time, intercultural skills are also required in the labour market due to the increasing multiculturality of society. These can be found especially in the district of Westhagen, whose population has its roots in about 80 different nations. On the other hand, the Competence Café will set up a new coordination centre in the district, which aims to boost supply and demand for qualification and employment in a central location and make it usable for workers, employers and social institutions. Le projet BIWAQ «Westhagener Kompetenz-Café — savoir-faire interculturel dans le quartier» constitue d’une part une initiative concrète de qualification et d’emploi visant à encourager les chômeurs de longue durée dans le quartier. L’accent est mis en particulier sur les besoins élevés de la main-d’œuvre dans le domaine de l’artisanat. Dans le même temps, les compétences interculturelles sont également nécessaires sur le marché du travail en raison de la multiculturalité croissante de la société. Ceux-ci se trouvent en particulier dans le quartier de Westhagen, dont la population a ses racines dans environ 80 nations différentes. D’autre part, le «Café de compétences» créera un nouveau centre de coordination dans le quartier, destiné à approvisionner l’offre et la demande en matière de qualification et d’emploi dans un lieu central et à servir les travailleurs, les employeurs et les institutions sociales. Het BIWAQ-project „Westhagener Kompetenz-Café — Interculturele knowhow in gebruik voor het district” is enerzijds voor een concreet kwalificatie- en werkgelegenheidsinitiatief ter bevordering van langdurig werklozen in het district. Bijzondere aandacht wordt besteed aan de grote vraag van werknemers in de ambachtelijke sector. Tegelijkertijd zijn ook interculturele vaardigheden nodig op de arbeidsmarkt vanwege de toenemende multiculturaliteit van de samenleving. Deze zijn vooral te vinden in het district Westhagen, waarvan de bevolking zijn wortels heeft in ongeveer 80 verschillende landen. Aan de andere kant zal het competentiecafé in het district een nieuw coördinatiecentrum opzetten dat tot doel heeft vraag en aanbod naar kwalificaties en werkgelegenheid op een centrale locatie te stimuleren en bruikbaar te maken voor werknemers, werkgevers en sociale instellingen. Dit houdt rechtstreeks verband met de BIWAQ-kwalificatiemaatregelen en is permanent gevestigd in het district. (Dutch)

Il progetto BIWAQ "Westhagener Kompetenz-Café — Intercultural know-how in uso per il distretto" è da un lato per un'iniziativa concreta di qualificazione e occupazione per promuovere i disoccupati di lungo periodo nel distretto. Particolare attenzione è rivolta all'elevata domanda di lavoratori del settore dell'artigianato. Al tempo stesso, la crescente multiculturalità della società richiede competenze interculturali anche nel mercato del lavoro. Questi si possono trovare soprattutto nel distretto di Westhagen, la cui popolazione ha le sue radici in circa 80 nazioni diverse. D'altro canto, il Competence Café istituirà un nuovo centro di coordinamento nel distretto, che mira a stimolare l'offerta e la domanda di qualifiche e di occupazione in una sede centrale e a renderlo utilizzabile per i lavoratori, i datori di lavoro e le istituzioni sociali.
