Inhalt des Projekts ist der Ausbau des Entwicklungszentrums für Lebensmittelforschung der Fraunhofer-Einrichtung für Marine Biotechnologie und Zelltechnik. Schwerpunkte liegen in der Nutzung mariner Ressourcen (wie Makroalgen, Muscheln, Fisch und Fischereinebenerzeugnisse) für innovative Lebensmittel, sowie der Etablierung von in-vitro und in-vivo Testsystemen für Lebensmittelinhaltsstoffe. Zudem ist eine enge Zusammenarbeit und die Organisation von Workshops mit und für die Ernährungsbranche geplant. (German)

The project focuses on the expansion of the Food Research Development Center of the Fraunhofer Institute for Marine Biotechnology and Cell Technology. It focuses on the exploitation of marine resources (such as macroalgae, bivalve molluscs, fish and fishery by-products) for innovative food, as well as the establishment of in vitro and in-vivo testing systems for food ingredients. In addition, close cooperation and the organisation of workshops with and for the food industry is planned. (English)
