Projekt dotyczy remontu kościoła p.w. Św. Jana Ewangelisty i Matki Boskiej Częstochowskiej w Bartoszycach, działka Nr 100 obręb 4 jedn. ew. Bartoszyce, stanowiącego najwartościowszy obiekt dziedzictwa kulturowego Bartoszyc, jako jeden z najstarszych przykładów średniowiecznej architektury ceglanej. W wyniku realizacji inwestycji dokonany zostanie remont elewacji oraz konserwacja okien zgodnie z wytycznymi zawartymi w programie prac konserwatorskich. Zasadnicze etapy projektu są związane z: 1) renowacją elewacji kościoła farnego, 2) konserwacją okien, 3) wykonaniem podjazdów dla niepełnosprawnych, 4) zakupem schodołazu, 5) montażem monitoringu, 6) przygotowaniem ekspozycji oraz portalu informacyjnego dotyczącego historii obiektu. Po zakończeniu realizacji projektu nastąpi znacząca poprawa estetyki i funkcjonalności elewacji kościoła farnego w Bartoszycach, w tym dostępności wnętrza kościoła dla osób z niepełnosprawnościami. Obiekt zostanie zabezpieczony przed zagrożeniami i kradzieżą poprzez zainstalowany monitoring bezprzewodowy. Realizacja projektu spowoduje wyraźne wzmocnienie funkcji kulturalnych i turystycznych kościoła farnego, będącego ważnym w skali Polski północno-wschodniej przykładem oryginalnie zachowanej średniowiecznej pokrzyżackiej architektury sakralnej z zachowanym charakterystycznym układem nawy głównej i dwu znacznie niższych naw bocznych. Wokół obiektu możliwa będzie budowa szeregu produktów turystycznych, związanych ze średniowieczną architekturą ceglaną miasta i regionu. Nie bez znaczenia są również związki z obiektem postaci historycznych, spośród których warto wymienić ks. Jerzego Popiełuszkę, który odwiedzał farę w trakcie odbywanej tu w latach 1966-1968 zasadniczej służby wojskowej. Stanowi to samo w sobie naturalną bazę do budowy produktu turystycznego. (Polish)

The project concerns the renovation of St. John the Evangelist and Our Lady of Czestochowa in Bartoszyce, plot No. 100 of the 4th district of Bartoszyce, which is the most valuable object of the cultural heritage of Bartoszyce, as one of the oldest examples of medieval brick architecture. As a result of the investment, the facade and maintenance of the windows will be repaired in accordance with the guidelines contained in the conservation work programme. The main stages of the project are related to: 1) renovation of the facade of the parish church, 2) maintenance of windows, 3) making driveways for the disabled, 4) purchase of stairs, 5) installation of monitoring, 6) preparation of exhibitions and information portal concerning the history of the object. After completion of the project, there will be a significant improvement in the aesthetics and functionality of the facade of the parish church in Bartoszyce, including the availability of the interior of the church for people with disabilities. The facility will be protected against threats and theft by installed wireless monitoring. The implementation of the project will significantly strengthen the cultural and tourist functions of the parish church, which is an important example in the north-eastern Poland of the original preserved medieval Teutonic sacral architecture with preserved characteristic layout of the main nave and two much lower side aisles. It will be possible to build a number of tourist products related to the medieval brick architecture of the city and region. Connections with the object of historical figures, among which it is worth mentioning, are also important. Jerzy Popiełuszka, who visited the pharaoh during his primary military service between 1966 and 1968. This is in itself a natural base for the construction of a tourist product. (English)
