The SENIOR ACTIV project aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and vulnerable elderly people of the Greater Region by acting — to slow down physical and mental ageing, — to anticipate the adaptation of housing in order to avoid falls that accelerate the loss of autonomy — and to prevent progressive isolation and the breakdown of social ties. The project will carry out cross-border experiments to identify solutions — on a small scale to facilitate well-being at home, — on an intermediate scale to improve the local environment of older people — and on a larger scale to lead concerted cross-border strategies for prevention of active and healthy ageing in the Greater Region.
