Zorgaanbieder Aafje wil de komende tijd de beweging maken naar een meer persoonsgerichte benadering in de zorg oftewel de bewoner centraal stellen. Op locatie 't Ronde Sant in Ridderkerk wordt aan de slag gegaan met zorgmedewerkers en gastvrouwen: zij hebben een spilfunctie op de huiskamers. Persoonsgerichte benadering vergt een andere 'mindset' van de medewerkers. Vaste structuren, waarbij de structuur leidend was, voeren de boventoon in plaats van de behoeften van de bewoner. Middels groepsbijeenkomsten en individuele gesprekken met medewerkers zullen een aantal thema's behandeld worden. De onderwerpen Leren waarnemen luisteren en kijken, bewustzijn ontwikkelen en 'anders kijken’ naar bewoners, ‘anders’ handelen zullen de revue passeren. Ook familie/mantelzorgers zullen bij dit project betrokken worden. (Dutch)
