The project “Together for Borovo Municipality” will be implemented by Borovo Municipality in partnership with Club “Open Society” — Ruse, “Slaveyche” United Children’s Center, Borovo, Petko Rachev Slaveykov Primary School, Obretenik village and Hristo Botev Primary School, Gorno Ablanovo. The Employment Agency, the Agency for Social Assistance, the Regional Health Inspectorate and the Regional Health Inspectorate of the Ministry of Education will participate as associated partners for successful implementation of the planned activities. The main objective of the project is to create a complex and sustainable model for integration of people from marginalised communities in cooperation with all stakeholders in Borovo municipality. In the implementation of the project an integrated approach will be applied, which includes activities under OP HRD related to support for improving access to employment, motivating and activation of unemployed persons, employment, improving access to education, social and health services, as well as measures for the development of local communities and overcoming negative stereotypes, which are complemented by OP SESG, which includes activities related to the educational process in both schools and subsidiaries of the kindergarten, including prevention of school drop-out and work with parents. The project is in line with the objectives of the Action Plan of Borovo Municipality in implementation of the Regional Strategy for Integration of Bulgarian Roma citizens and other citizens in vulnerable social situations living in a similar Roma situation. The project is aimed at working with unemployed young people 15-29 with primary and secondary education, from vulnerable groups, as well as long-term unemployed people over 50 years of age, children in early childhood and their families, students from ethnic minorities and other ethnic groups, parents from ethnic minorities. The project activities have a special focus on the villages of Obretenik and Gorno Ablanovo, which have a high concentration of Roma population and places that have not been included in other integration projects and programmes. Проектът „Заедно за община Борово“ ще се изпълнява от община Борово в партньорство с Клуб „Отворено общество“ – Русе, Обединено детско заведение „Славейче“, гр. Борово, Основно училище „Петко Рачев Славейков“, с. Обретеник и Основно училище „Христо Ботев“, с. Горно Абланово. За успешно изпълнение на предвидените дейности, като асоциирани партньори ще участват Агенция по заетостта, Агенция за социално подпомагане, Регионална здравна инспекция и РУО на МОН . Основната цел на проекта е създаване на комплексен и устойчив модел за интеграция на лица от маргинализирани общности в сътрудничество с всички заинтересовани страни в община Борово. При изпълнение на проекта ще бъде приложен интегриран подход, който включва дейности по ОП РЧР, свързани с подкрепа за подобряване достъпа до заетост, мотивиране и активиране на безработни лица, заетост, подобряване достъпа до образование, социални и здравни услуги, както и мерки за развитието на местните общности и преодоляването на негативни стереотипи, които се допълват от ОП НОИР, където са включени дейности, свързани с образователния процес в двете училища и филиалите на детската градина, в т.ч. превенция на отпадането от училище и работа с родителите. Проектът е в съответствие с целите на Плана за действие на община Борово в изпълнение на Областната стратегия за интегриране на българските граждани от ромски произход и други граждани в уязвимо социално положение, живеещи в сходна на ромите. Проектът е насочен към работа с безработни – младежи 15 – 29 години с основно и средно образование, от уязвими групи, както и трайно безработни лица над 50-годишна възраст, деца в ранна детска възраст и техните семейства, ученици от етническите малцинства и други етноси, родители от етническите малцинства. Проектните дейности са със специален фокус върху селата Обретеник и Горно Абланово, които са с голяма концентрация на ромско население и места, които не са били включвани в други проекти и програми за интеграция.
