Aktivnosti projekta so usmerjene v deinstitucionalizacijo vzgojnih zavodov, ki so zavodi za vzgojo in izobraževanje otrok in mladostnikov s posebnimi potrebami, ustanovljeni s strani države za eno skupino otrok s posebnimi potrebami – za otroke s čustvenimi in vedenjskimi motnjami (v nadaljevanju: vzgojni zavodi). Otroci s čustvenimi in vedenjskimi motnjami so v vzgojne zavode nameščeni z odločbo o namestitvi s strani centrov za socialno delo v skladu z zakonom, ki ureja družinska razmerja, ali po sklepu sodišča. The activities of the project are aimed at deinstitutionalising educational institutions, which are institutions for the education and education of children and adolescents with special needs, established by the State for one group of children with special needs — for children with emotional and behavioural disabilities (hereinafter: educational institutions). Children with emotional and behavioural disorders are placed in educational institutions by decision on placement by social work centres in accordance with the law governing family relationships or by a court order.
