The State, the Regional Council and the network of associations responsible for social inclusion, support and guidance for women victims, have wanted to create a platform for observation, centralisation and convergence: the observatory of violence against women (ORViFF). A place for meetings and animation of the network of actors involved in violence against women, it promotes the deployment of tools for care, awareness raising, protection and prevention. The main action is to offer the structures responsible for supporting women victims of violence in their social and professional integration paths, tools, observation procedures, training, guaranteeing more effective care. Several observatories have been set up at national level, with ORVIFF being the first ultramarine project. It has received significant national support because of the local willingness to have this tool in place. For its establishment, it has benefited from the experience gained by MIPROF — interministerial mission for the protection of women victims of violence and the fight against trafficking in human beings — in supporting and developing existing observatories. The action of ORVIFF is structured in four areas: 1-information and awareness raising of the actors in charge of social inclusion, support and guidance, in order to provide more effective care for women victims of violence and discrimination 2- networking these actors and develop common tools, to develop a shared culture 3- observation and analysis, to better understand situations of violence and their evolution 4 — information and awareness raising among the general public both in order to develop greater awareness and solidarity.
