Dans le cadre d'une réhabilitation du patrimoine, l'INRA est dans une dynamique de rénover une partie de ses bâtiments à l'intérieur du domaine de Duclos. Par son activité, l'INRA a le désir pour le bâtiment ASTRO-EST d'optimiser les performances énergétiques sur le plan architectural mais également technique pour la rénovation lourde. Les travaux de rénovation du bâtiment ASTRO-EST s'inscrivent dans le cadre de la restructuration du site de l'INRA Antilles-Guyane dont l'étude de programmation réalisée en 2013 a défini les grandes lignes. Ces travaux de rénovation prévoient, pour l'essentiel : - le confortement parasismique du bâtiment selon les EUROCODES en vigueur, - la rénovation énergétique du bâtiment, - des travaux d'aménagement des espaces intérieurs permettant d'accueillir les services administratifs du site.
