    Zielgruppe sind Asylbewerber mit nachrangigem Zugang zum Arbeitsmarkt. Die Asylbewerber sind lateinisch alphabetisiert und haben bereits Unterricht von ehrenamtlichen Kräften erhalten, in ihrem Heimatland Deutschkenntnisse erworben oder einen Erstorientierungskurs besucht und besitzen entweder schriftlich und oder mündlich einen Sprachstand von A1. Da sie aber in der Regel nur wenig im Kontakt mit Deutschsprachigen sind und fern der Mehrheitsgesellschaft leben, mangelt es ihnen an kommunikativer Kompetenz. Ziel des Lehrgangs ist das erreichen der sprachlichen Handlungskompetenz auf dem Sprachniveau A2 und weiterführende Kurse auf höherem Niveau vorzubereiten oder den Einstieg ins Arbeitsleben zu erleichtern. Im Zuge der Anforderungen des Arbeitsmarkts kommen zu den sprachlichen Defiziten auch häufig mangelnde Fach-, Mathematik- und EDV-Kenntnisse sowie unklare Vorstellungen bezüglich der eigenen Möglichkeiten auf dem aktuellen Arbeitsmarkt hinzu. Die Zusammenstellung einer möglichst homogenen Gruppe an Teilnehmenden - im Hinblick auf das Sprachniveau sowie die fachliche Ausrichtung - erfolgt auf Basis der vor Lehrgangsbeginn durchgeführten Kompetenzfeststellung in Abstimmung mit den Leistungsträgern.
