Ziel des Kurses ist es, die Sprachkompetenzen der Teilnehmenden durch einen allgemeinsprachlichen sowie berufsbezogenen Sprachunterricht auf das nächsthöhere Sprachniveau zu erhöhen. Der Sprachkurs zielt insbesondere auf die Verbesserung der Kenntnisse im Hör- und Leseverstehen, in der schriftlichen und mündlichen Kommunikation, sowie der Erweiterung des Wortschatzes und des Verständnisses der grammatischen Strukturen. Eine verbesserte Sprachkompetenz erhöht die Chancen der Teilnehmenden bei der aktiven Bewerbung um eine Erwerbstätigkeit auf dem Arbeitsmarkt bzw. dient als Grundlage zur sprachlichen und beruflichen Weiterbildung. Der Kurs schließt mit einer Modellprüfung auf Basis des Gemeinsamen Europäischen Referenzrahmens (GER) ab (A2(+) ab. (German)
