Vorrangig Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund sollen bei der Integration in Arbeit kultursensibel unterstützt, ihre Lebensbedingungen und -verhältnisse verbessert und Zusammenhalt und kulturelles Zusammenleben im Quartier gefördert werden. Sie sollen nachhaltig in Beschäftigung integriert werden, Kenntnisse über Bewerbungsverfahren erwerben, praktische Erfahrungen in verschiedenen Berufsfeldern machen, eigene Talente und Kompetenzen kennenlernen und ihre Sprachkenntnisse verbessern. Gleichzeitig werden Kooperationen im Stadtteil gefördert, aufgebaut und intensiviert. Durch Anerkennung und Akzeptanz ihres Engagements im Stadtteil soll sich die Wahrnehmung von „Migranten“ verändern, das soziale Miteinander durch Steigerung bürgerschaftlichen Engagements gefördert werden. Unterstützt durch migrantenspezifische Netzwerke(r), Akteure und Orte, aber auch durch solche mit „interkulturellem Potenzial“, die Menschen mit und ohne Migrationshintergrund gleichermaßen nutzen, soll dies gelingen.
