Die Fa. Chemtec ist seit 20 Jahren als Produzent, Händler und Servicedienstleister von/für Reinigungsmittel in der Tankschifffahrt tätig. Das Hauptprodukt des Unternehmens, der „CTC Cleaner VLC“, wird derzeit in einer kleinen Gewerbehalle in Schwarzenbek produziert und von dort weltweit über Zwischenlager an Endabnehmer aus dem Bereich der Produkt- und Chemikalientankschifffahrt vertrieben. Daneben werden weitere Reiniger von Auftragsherstellern (im In- und Ausland) produziert und ebenfalls weltweit vertrieben. Aufgrund einer – lt. Antragstellerin – erheblich gestiegenen Nachfrage reichen die vorhandenen Kapazitäten am bisherigen Standort nicht mehr aus, sodass es zur Ausweitung des bisherigen Produktionsvolumens zeitnah einer Betriebserweiterung bedarf. Da eine Expansion auf dem gegenwärtig genutzten Gelände nicht möglich ist, plant die Antragstellerin die Errichtung einer neuen Betriebsstätte in Dassendorf. Das bislang ausschließlich unter Mitarbeit der beiden Gesellschafter geführte Unternehmen beabsichtigt, sämtliche derzeit von Drittproduzenten bezogenen Reinigungsmittel zukünftig selbst herzustellen. Durch die Nutzung von Synergieeffekten sollen Produktionskosten gesenkt und nachhaltige Qualitätssteigerungen erzielt werden. Darüber hinaus leistet das Vorhaben einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Stärkung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit in einem internationalen Branchenumfeld. Die geplante Betriebsstätte wird sich in drei Bereiche – Büro, Produktion und Lager – aufteilen und soll den KfW-55-Standard erfüllen. Außerdem ist die Errichtung einer Photovoltaikanlage geplant, die den Energiebedarf des Unternehmens – zumindest im Sommerhalbjahr – rechnerisch decken soll. (German)

Chemtec has been active in tank shipping for 20 years as a producer, dealer and service provider of/for cleaning agents. The company’s main product, the “CTC Cleaner VLC”, is currently produced in a small commercial hall in Schwarzenbek and is distributed worldwide via intermediate warehouses to end-users in the field of product and chemical tanker shipping. In addition, further cleaners are produced by contract manufacturers (at home and abroad) and are also sold worldwide. Due to a significant increase in demand — according to the applicant — the existing capacity at the previous site is no longer sufficient, so that an expansion of the existing production volume is required in a timely manner. Since it is not possible to expand on the currently used site, the Applicant plans to construct a new plant in Dassendorf. The company, which has so far been managed exclusively with the cooperation of the two shareholders, intends to manufacture all detergents currently purchased from third-party producers themselves in the future. The use of synergy effects should reduce production costs and achieve sustainable quality improvements. In addition, the project makes a significant contribution to strengthening competitiveness in an international industry environment. The planned plant will be divided into three areas — office, production and warehouse — and will meet the KfW 55 standard.
