An der Herwig-Blankertz-Schule soll durch Förderung des EFRE-Programms der EU die Einrichtung von zwei CIM-Laboren ermöglicht werden, die es Auszubildenden in gewerblich-technischen Ausbildungsberufen erlaubt, den Prozess von der Konstruktion bis zur Fertigung ganzheitlich zu erfahren. Die leistungsfähigen PCs der beiden CIM-Labore sind dabei direkt in die Fertigungssysteme der Schule integriert und erlauben sowohl den direkten Zugriff auf die Werkzeugmaschinen. (German)

The aim of the Herwig-Blankertz School is to support the EU’s ERDF programme to set up two CIM laboratories to allow trainees in commercial and technical training occupations to experience the process holistically from design to manufacturing. The powerful PCs of the two CIM labs are directly integrated into the school’s manufacturing systems and allow direct access to the machine tools. (English)
