Smart Region 2.0 will use the West Coast University of Applied Sciences as a property to demonstrate the further development of innovative intelligent energy infrastructures. Research in conjunction with transfer activities should show that and in what way energy consumption and CO2 equivalents in a property can be significantly reduced by the operation of the components used. A demonstration platform will be created that will allow other entities such as public real estates, agricultural and commercial enterprises, private households and associations such as municipalities or residential quarters to plan and optimise their energy supply and energy flows.
