Inhalt des Projekts ist der Ausbau des Entwicklungszentrums für Lebensmittelforschung der Fraunhofer-Einrichtung für Marine Biotechnologie und Zelltechnik. Schwerpunkte liegen in der Nutzung mariner Ressourcen (wie Makroalgen, Muscheln, Fisch und Fischereinebenerzeugnisse) für innovative Lebensmittel, sowie der Etablierung von in-vitro und in-vivo Testsystemen für Lebensmittelinhaltsstoffe. Zudem ist eine enge Zusammenarbeit und die Organisation von Workshops mit und für die Ernährungsbranche geplant. (German)
